La Almazara in Serranía de Ronda (Málaga) is the world's first bespoke olive mill, designed by Philippe Starck, with a €22 million investment.
It offers an immersive experience celebrating extra virgin olive oil, featuring an oil press, museum, restaurant, and tasting area. Andalusian Government President Juanma Moreno called it an "ambitious project," supported by a €4 million Feder loan.
It's a unique boutique olive mill and thematic museum promoting culture, gastronomy, art, and history. Starck described it as a "miraculous place" blending olive oil tradition with innovation. The project highlights Spanish gastronomy and reinvents olive oil tourism, enriching the region and positioning Ronda as a global destination.
