The sought-after provinces of Malaga, Girona and Las Palmas, along with a total of 12 favourite destinations for foreigners are capturing more interest than local demand. In Malaga province, the charming town centre by the Bay of Casares, and the picturesque districts of Guadalobón, Buenas Noches, and Bahía Dorada in Estepona are standing out. Not to be overlooked is the allure of Puerto Banús in Marbella.
Interestingly, for the first time in a while, the British are not leading the demand for foreign homebuyers in Spain. While they remain significant buyers in the country, they are not the dominant nationality in the most sought-after locations. Visitors from Germany are taking the spotlight in 55 out of the 120 areas analysed, particularly in the Balearic and Canary Islands.
Sweden emerges as a notable player, being the top country showing interest in homes in Malaga areas. This interest is mirrored by demand from the Netherlands, which not only focuses on Malaga but also extends its interest to Alicante and Granada. The British still hold the highest foreign demand in Manilva, Estepona, and Gualchos in Granada, while Poland's interest is particularly strong in the Bay of Casares.
