Tierra Viva is a development of luxurious villas inspired by the supercar brand Lamborghini. Each villa is positioned at a unique elevation, offering unobstructed views of the Mediterranean Sea.
The aim was to create a limited-edition residence in which every detail embodies the DNA of Lamborghini. This includes infusing design elements from flagship models into each villa. For instance, the rear exterior of the villas echoes the sharply sculpted lines of a Ruvuelto’s silhouette, while the pools mimic the shape of a Huracan’s iconic headlights. Even the frames of the floor-to-ceiling windows draw inspiration from the angular grille of a Lamborghini Urus.
This project was a collaborative effort between the automotive design teams at Lamborghini and DarGlobal. Ensuring the success of Tierra Viva was vital for both brands, which share attributes of exclusivity, design, and passion. Partnering with a supercar brand involved more than simply attaching a name to a building; it required collaborating with those who understand Lamborghini’s heritage and translating that into the architecture and interiors, while granting Lamborghini the creative freedom to express their philosophy. The team, including CEO Stephen Winkelmann, had a deep understanding of the brand’s shapes, materials, and palette, which made the project authentic.
A key focus was to ensure each villa offers uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea. Anyone who has visited the Costa del Sol will appreciate its stunning blue waters and mountainous terrain, and maximising this potential was crucial for our location. This is enhanced by large sliding doors that effectively merge the lounge with the outdoor patio and pool, creating a seamless connection to the horizon of the Mediterranean.
