The Mett group has recently introduced its first luxury hotel on the beautiful Costa del Sol, following a significant investment of 27 million euros. Located right on the beachfront in Estepona, this impressive five-star resort offers a total of 253 rooms. Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), the company that purchased the old Iberostar hotel last year, has carefully renovated it to create an exceptional establishment. This exciting launch signifies the debut of the Mett hotel in Spain and the second globally, after the initial one in the captivating Turkish city of Bodrum.

As one of the largest owners of holiday hotels in southern Europe, HIP is part of the Blackstone-managed funds. Their strategic approach focuses on investment and management plans that allow for the repositioning of former hotels, resulting in an enhanced customer experience. The newly opened hotel, managed by the esteemed Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG), operates under the prestigious Mett Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella-Estepona brand, offering a unique combination of modern minimalism and traditional Andalusian style. The choice of materials and furnishings throughout the hotel draws inspiration from the rich culture and harmonious Mediterranean way of life.

Furthermore, the resort proudly features over 500 photovoltaic panels, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability. Additionally, ten percent of the rooms are designated as premium, with some even boasting private swimming pools. Undoubtedly, the highlight of the outdoor area is the expansive swimming pool, providing the perfect setting for guests to relax and bask in the sun.

One of the main attractions of this resort is its exceptional gastronomic offerings. With a variety of restaurants to choose from, including Isola Ristorante, which showcases the delightful traditional Mediterranean cuisine of southern Italy, Ammos Greek Restaurant (also recently launched in Ibiza), and the Azure Beach Club, guests are truly spoiled for choice. These well-established brands are joined by an exciting new concept exclusive to this Costa del Sol resort, Lola's Bar, conveniently situated in the pool area.
